HOW IT WORKS
A reservationless service, WebInterpoint starts quickly, has a simple log in process and supports both planned and unplanned meetings. Joining a WebInterpoint session requires only a browser and an Internet connection. Users can join from any computer or web appliance (e.g., Windows, Macintosh, Linux, UNIX) and there is nothing to download, thus eliminating the security and configuration problems often encountered with web conferencing tools. Communications are encrypted with 128 bit SSL to keep presentations confidential. To host a conference:
1. Open a browser window directed to the Join page URL
2. Log in using assigned subscriber ID and passcode
3. Click the start button on the toolbar
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- Network connection to the WebInterpoint system through HTTP and HTTPS
- Connection speed of 56kbps or higher is recommended (128kbps for sharing)
- Microsoft Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP/Server2003 System with one of the following browsers: Internet Explorer 5.5+, Netscape 7.0+ and Mozilla 1.0+
- Mac OS X with Netscape 7.1+ or Apple Safari
- Linux, Unix or Solaris with Netscape 7.0+ or Mozilla 1.0+
- Cookies, pop-ups and scripting enabled
- For Outlook integration, application and desktop sharing, must have ability to run ActiveX or JVM sharing controls or pre-install sharing components
